Local Control and Accountability Plan (LCAP)
-
The LCAP is a three-year plan that describes the goals, actions, services, and expenditures to support positive student outcomes that address state and local priorities. The LCAP provides an opportunity for school districts to share their stories of how, what, and why programs and services are selected to meet their local needs. Annual review of the LCAP is required.
The unprecedented COVID-19 pandemic has affected the Bellevue Union School District (BUSD) community and drastically altered the lives of our students, families, and staff. The unexpected closure of schools in March 2020 has impacted the physical, emotional, social, and educational needs of our students and caused high levels of stress and trauma to them and their families. The closure of schools has impacted many students and families by challenging their ability to access basic services. To address student needs in 2020-21 the state has directed all districts to create a Learning Continuity Plan that supercedes the LCAP for 2020-21.
